Registered Nurse

An amazing job has arisen for a RGN,RMN or RNLD to work with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. As a Nurse you will be working in a highly reputable service within North West London area.

The special care team offers all types of care, including nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Ensuring the highest standards of care is given to the residents by assessing their needs and developing the service.
• Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the service users changing physical, social and psychological needs
• Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
• Liaising with visitors and other external stakeholders
• Ensuring a rigorous monitoring and recording practice is followed by documenting effectively
• Promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in an effective manner
• Supporting, guiding and teaching others in line with the NMC code
• Attending relevant meetings and monthly appraisals with the line manager

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
• Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
• Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
• Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
