Registered Nurse

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional care home service that specialises in respite care, end-of-life care residential nursing care and much more. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers based in the Alton area.

This special care home provides residential nursing care for many people as well as care for people living with dementia. A close care complex adjoins the home providing the independence and security of home ownership, together with access to many caring and communal facilities.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents, and developing and updating person centred Care Plans for them;
• Dispensing and administering medication in accordance with prescriptions;
• Liaising with departmental heads to ensure residents maintenance, catering and housekeeping needs are accommodated;
• Organising and supervising the work of the Care Team including induction of new members of the team;
• Providing a comprehensive handover at shift change to ensure seamless care is provided.

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• A valid NMC PIN
• Previous experience of working with the elderly / dementia
• Is conversant with the NMC Code
• Has a competent computer user
• A good communicator, written and verbally
• Able to manage and motivate the care team

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £18.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £33,696. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 36 hours a week on Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
