Registered Nurse
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RMN to work with one of the UK's leading health care providers of independent specialist secure and step-down services across the UK. As a nurse you will be working in a hospital based in Wolverhampton.
This hospital cares for adults of working age with acute mental health care needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. The staffs aim to provide a person-centred approach that promotes collaborative care planning to optimise treatment goals.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
Providing leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents safety and dignity
Maintaining skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
Ensuring that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used
Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
Taking charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accepting responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit
Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment
An ideal Nurse must have these skills and be able to meet these requirements:
Good organisational skills
Good supervisory skills
Good communication skills both written and verbal
The ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improve service delivery and outcomes for residents
The ability to plan, allocate and delegate work appropriately
To be able to understand Recovery Action Plans
Experience of working with service users with various mental health needs
A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
A working knowledge of Recovery and Recovery Star
NMC Registered Nurse (RMN)
Evidence of personal and professional development
The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of between £27,785.70 -£34,510. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
