Registered Nurse

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to join an exceptional care home based in Northern Ireland.
The team of specialists aim to provide a professional and high standard of care to all their residents. This home offers long term and short term care for residents with a Learning Disability or Mental Health, young physically disabled and acquired brain injury.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
• Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs.
• Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
• Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
• Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.

An ideal Nurse must have the following skills as they are beneficial to this position:
• Committed to Personal Learning and Development,
• Excellent team working skills and be highly self-motivated with a flexible approach.
• Good Nursing Experience
• Excellent Clinical Skills
• Able to write Care Plans
• Able to show Empathy and warmth
• Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc.
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
