Registered Mental Nurse
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Mental Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
The hospital offers a safe and supportive complex care and rehabilitation service for male and female service users with enduring mental health problems. The aim is to work collaboratively with the service users to provide the best quality care, improve the quality of their lives and help them achieve the highest level of independence and dignity, embracing service users needs using a holistic, person centred approach.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
Providing a high standard of care to people with learning disability and personality disorder
Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.
Working as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for an identified group of patients whilst consistently working within the clinical governance framework.
An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
Experience of working with people with complex mental health problems
Knowledge of the mental health Act
Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
Excellent organisational capability
Effective communication skills
RMN Qualified
Registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council)
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary from £27,000 - £29,000 depending on skills and experience. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
