Registered Mental Nurse
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital service based in Monmouthshire. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special mental health service is a hospital that provides Medium and Low Secure care for males and females with mental illnesses and/or personality disorders and for males with intellectual/learning disabilities.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• To undertake and manage direct patient care
• Having participated fully in the assessment
• Planning and evaluation of care need
• Undertake the delivery of care, including individual and group sessions, to Agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation
• Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care
• Support and supervise new or junior staff.
• Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required
An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• A relevant nursing qualification and registration
• Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary from £28,973 - £34,354 depending on experience. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
