Registered Nurse

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional care centre within the Daventry, Northamptonshire area. As a Nurse you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the area.

This special service provides specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Participate as a full member of the nursing team in the assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans including other relevant agencies as appropriate.
• Provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical and physiological needs.
• Be aware of the effects of prescribed medication, advising residents and liaising and/or informing other health professionals as necessary or required.
• Maintain safe custody, accurate administration and recording of drugs at all times.
• Be aware of and have regard for the advice from the NMC and other statutory bodies in relation to professional matters.
• Develop Key Worker roles and facilitate training for all junior staff and students.
• Maintain concise records and provide reports as necessary.
• Attend mandatory training courses and participate/conduct relevant research at the direction of the Home Manager ensuring NMC clinical governance criteria are met.
• Direct, support and supervise junior staff ensuring professional lines of accountability and priorities are met and that all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure the necessary administration and information systems are in place to provide flexible and quality services within the department’s allocated budget, effective communication and healthy working relations. To review systems in place in liaison with both junior staff and senior management.
• Undertake such other duties as may be mutually determined from time to time

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary from £26,000 - £34,000 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
