As York-based Coffee Roasters & Tea Specialists, we believe that everyone deserves a great-quality, tasty cup of coffee or tea! York Emporium was set up in 2010 to serve the ever-increasing need for roasted coffee & tea in Yorkshire and beyond. We're a dedicated team, and the quality of our products and services is central to our culture. As well as serving retail customers with daily roasted coffee & loose leaf teas, York Emporium also supplies cafés, restaurants and bars with blends to suit them and their customers.
We source high-quality coffee beans and loose-leaf tea from around the world, and all orders are freshly roasted and hand-packed at our York-based roastery. Great-tasting, freshly roasted coffee beans and loose-leaf tea are delivered directly to your door. With low postage rates and a growing number of pick-up points, we make ordering coffee beans online easy and affordable.
Our experienced team of passionate coffee roasters know how to get the very best out of each bean - crafting the perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and body. They carefully consider and source the coffee that we stock - whether it’s a single origin coffee to be enjoyed alone for its unique flavour profile, or to complement other coffees in a blend.
Our coffees are ethically sourced from green coffee buyers who are committed to excellent coffee, excellent standards and paying their farmers an excellent price. We source, roast, blend and pack the coffee ourselves, to ensure that the coffee makes as few journeys as possible once it has left the farm. Our main speciality coffee buyers focus on building collaborative supply chains for mutual profit and positive social impact. They support and build some pretty cool programs like Girls Gotta Run in Ethiopia and IWCA, which is expanding from Central & South America into places like Burundi in Africa.
