My name is Katie and I've worked in healthcare for the last 21 years. More recently, I have trained in Otoscopy and microsuction (ear wax removal) through Tympa Health. I offer a mobile service, so you can get ear wax removed in the comfort of your own home.
As a qualified practitioner, I am also able to send images and videos for review by the Tympa audiologists / ENT specialists at no added cost to you. With their clinical recommendations and/or suggestions for referrals for additional care, I then compile a report, which you can then share with their GP. Not only does this reduce NHS waiting lists, but it reduces the number of appointments you may need to attend in person.
With my background in occupational therapy and mental health, I am also highly skilled at supporting people who may be somewhat anxious about the procedure, and can offer a carefully graded approach if required.
